Moscow, September 4, 2025 – The Russian Geographical Society has opened venue registration for the XI International Geographical Dictation, a global educational initiative testing geography knowledge. The event will take place on November 30, 2025, in-person at various locations worldwide, with an online format available from November 30 to December 14. Organizations can apply to host the Dictation until November 20 via the official website: https://dictant.rgo.ru/en.
Since its inception in 2015, the campaign has engaged participants across all Russian regions and every continent. Venues include schools, universities, museums, libraries, nature reserves, national parks, and unique settings like trains and planes.
