Dhaka, September 4, 2025 – The Bangladesh Urban Poor Community Livelihood Support Project, funded by the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), was officially launched on September 2. The ceremony was attended by key figures, including Md. Rezaul Maksud Jahedi, Secretary of the Local Government Division, Stefan Liller, UNDP Resident Representative in Bangladesh, and Song Yang, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, alongside senior representatives from six beneficiary cities.
