Dhaka, September 6, 2025 – The Nordic Embassies of Sweden, Denmark, and Norway came together to discuss sustainability and their shared vision of making Dhaka a greener and healthier city. The meeting, held to explore collective efforts for urban improvement, featured Mohammad Azaz, Administrator (Mayor) of Dhaka North City Corporation, as a special guest.
Mayor Azaz shared his vision for a more livable Dhaka, emphasizing cleaner parks, greener streets, and healthier neighborhoods through collaborative initiatives. Ambassadors from the Nordic countries reflected on successful sustainability practices from their nations and highlighted ongoing efforts supported through partnerships in Bangladesh.
