Beijing, China – Bangladesh’s four-member team made a strong mark at the 2nd International Olympiad on Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2025, held in Beijing, China, competing against 86 teams from 73 countries. The team showcased exceptional problem-solving, innovation, and technical skills, highlighting Bangladesh’s rising prominence in global AI competitions.
Md. Riasat Islam from Rajuk Uttara Model College and Arefin Anwar from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School each secured bronze medals, while Misbah Uddin from Notre Dame College earned an Honorable Mention. Their achievements reflect the growing talent and potential of Bangladeshi students in the field of artificial intelligence.
The IOAI 2025 provided a platform for young innovators to tackle complex challenges, further solidifying Bangladesh’s place on the global stage of AI and technology.
