Dhaka, July 26, 2025 – A Chinese medical team from Wuhan Third Hospital continued their vital support at the Bangladesh Institute of Burns and Plastic Surgery on Saturday, assisting local medical staff in treating injured patients. The team, consisting of doctors and nurses, offered expert guidance on preventing wound infections, provided routine care advice, and assisted in critical procedures such as wound cleaning, dressing changes, and arterial punctures. They also provided surgical support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
In addition to hands-on assistance, the Chinese medical team held consultations with Bangladeshi doctors, collaborating with medical teams from Singapore and India to share expertise and enhance treatment efforts. The Chinese delegation emphasized their commitment to providing comprehensive support, stating their readiness to do everything possible to aid Bangladesh in treating the injured.
