Dhaka, September 6, 2025 – Pakistan’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, paid a courtesy call on BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the party chairperson’s office in Gulshan on Saturday morning.
The meeting, which commenced around 10:30 AM, was confirmed by BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan. BNP Standing Committee members Abdul Moyeen Khan and Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, along with Shama Obaid, a member of the party’s international affairs committee, were also present during the discussions.
While no official statement was issued after the meeting, party sources indicated that the talks likely covered regional political developments, Bangladesh-Pakistan bilateral relations, and the broader global diplomatic landscape.
