Dhaka, August 19, 2025 – Ambassador H.E. Marie Masdupuy attended a seminar titled “July Uprising & the Interplay between Political and Economic Empowerment of Women” on Sunday, organized by the Khan Foundation in Dhaka. The event convened distinguished speakers, academics, politicians, and activists to discuss the critical role of women’s empowerment in fostering a just and inclusive society.
In her remarks, Ambassador Masdupuy commended the initiative, underscoring the necessity of including women’s voices in policymaking and nation-building. She expressed optimism that the interim government would consider the Women’s Affairs Reform Commission’s proposals to promote women’s development and ensure their meaningful participation in decision-making processes.
