Dhaka, August 4, 2025 – The Embassy of Palestine in Bangladesh has strongly dismissed media reports alleging that the interim government of Bangladesh has restricted the entry of Palestinians into the country, labeling such claims as “unfounded” and harmful to the longstanding ties between the two nations.
In a statement issued on Monday, the embassy condemned the spread of “misleading information” that undermines Bangladesh’s historic support for the Palestinian cause. It warned that such reports play into the hands of “Zionist occupying powers and their allies” and urged Bangladeshi media outlets to uphold high standards of accuracy in their reporting.
The Palestine Embassy called on media outlets to verify information before publication to avoid harming the deep friendship and historic ties between the two countries. “Neglecting due diligence risks causing harm to both Palestine and Bangladesh,” the statement concluded, expressing hope that the enduring bonds between the two nations remain intact.
