Dhaka, August 24, 2025 – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar paid a courtesy visit to Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman at his residence in Dhaka’s Bhatara area on Sunday afternoon. The meeting, lasting over 30 minutes, focused on mutual interests and strengthening ties between the two nations.
According to Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Dar inquired about Dr. Rahman’s health and engaged in discussions on fostering unity within the Muslim world. The leaders emphasized the need for Muslim-majority countries to take a unified stance against Israeli aggression in Palestine. They also explored opportunities for collaboration between Bangladesh and Pakistan on shared regional interests.
