Dhaka, 07 August 2025 – H.E. Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, the newly appointed German Ambassador to Bangladesh, officially commenced his diplomatic mission by presenting his credentials to President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Wednesday.
In their discussions, both leaders emphasized expanding collaboration in critical areas such as democratic governance, human rights, gender equality, climate resilience, clean energy initiatives, and boosting trade and investment to foster mutual growth. They also explored new opportunities for cultural exchange and technological innovation to further strengthen bilateral ties.
The meeting highlighted the shared vision of both nations to deepen their longstanding relationship, focusing on sustainable development, economic prosperity, and global challenges.
