Swiss Ambassador Hosts Meeting to Discuss Investment Climate in Bangladesh

Switzerland’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Reto Renggli, held a breakfast meeting to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and investment environment in Bangladesh. The meeting took place at the ambassador’s residence on the morning of Thursday, July 17, 2025. The gathering included key representatives from the Swiss business community in Bangladesh and Dr. Debapriya Bhattacharya, Chairman of the commission that published a white paper on the state of Bangladesh’s economy. According to the Switzerland Embassy in Dhaka, the meeting featured extensive discussions on macroeconomic conditions, the state of the financial sector, challenges, opportunities, and the overall investment climate in Bangladesh.
