Dhaka, July 9, 2025 – The Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh held a pre-departure reception on July 8 for a nine-member high-level delegation from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, ahead of their visit to China. The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, the Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, who delivered remarks during the reception.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, led the delegation, which included other senior leaders of the party. The reception underscored the growing diplomatic and cultural exchanges between China and Bangladesh, highlighting the significance of the delegation’s upcoming visit to China.
