China and Bangladesh Strengthen Industrial Ties at Dhaka Seminar

Dhaka, July 10, 2025 – The Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, attended the China-Bangladesh Industrial and Supply Chain Cooperation Seminar and the Release Ceremony of Industry Reports on July 9, 2025, hosted by the Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB). Held in Dhaka, the event marked a milestone in deepening economic collaboration between the two nations. In his keynote address, Ambassador Yao emphasized the potential for enhanced industrial and supply chain partnerships. H.E. Mr. Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), also spoke, highlighting avenues for mutual economic growth. The seminar drew around 80 participants, including officials from Bangladeshi ministries, think tank experts, Chinese business representatives, and media personnel. A major highlight was the CEAB’s unveiling of ten industry development reports, offering insights into key sectors to bolster bilateral cooperation. The event underscored the shared commitment of China and Bangladesh to advance industrial synergy and investment. As both nations continue to strengthen their economic ties, the seminar signals a promising future for collaborative ventures.
