Philippine Embassy in Dhaka Hosts Culinary Prelude to Taste Asia Festival

The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka welcomed renowned Celebrity Chef Tommy Miah for a courtesy visit, setting the stage for a vibrant celebration of Asian cuisine at the upcoming Taste Asia Festival in Sylhet this November. Chef Miah expressed his eagerness to invite a Filipino chef to the November festival to highlight the Philippines’ unique culinary heritage. She also lauded Chef Miah’s advocacy for women’s empowerment and sustainability, including his efforts in waste-to-energy innovation and reducing food waste.
