On the occasion of International Tiger Day, Srijanshil Pathshala Charuputhi organized a distinctive event in Dhaka’s Kalabagan. The day-long program, held on Tuesday from 10 AM to 5 PM, featured children drawing pictures alongside a puppet show and various cultural performances organized by Inventors Puppet. The main objective of the event was to have children draw images of the Sundarbans, wildlife, and tigers on a 5,000-foot-long paper roll. This year-long initiative will culminate on the next International Tiger Day.
Following the Dhaka event, the paper roll will travel to divisional cities across Bangladesh via a caravan van, where young children will participate in this grand initiative. The completed artwork will then be submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records.
The organizers stated that through this initiative, they aim to inspire people of all ages, including children and youth, to protect the environment and wildlife, fostering a future that is fairer, safer, and more sustainable.
